What is dermaplanning? - How to get rid of PEACH FUZZ?

Dermaplaning is a cosmetic procedure that involves using a sterile surgical scalpel to gently scrape away the top layer of dead skin cells and fine facial hair aka peach fuzz from the surface of the skin. It is typically performed on the face, but can be done on the neck as well.

The process of dermaplaning is similar to shaving, but uses a very sharp blade to remove the outer layer of skin, revealing smoother, brighter, and more even-looking skin. The procedure can help to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation, and can also help skincare products to penetrate more deeply into the skin.

Dermaplaning is a non-invasive procedure that is generally considered safe for most skin types. Dermaplaning can be performed as a standalone treatment, or can be combined with other skincare treatments, such as facials or chemical peels, for more dramatic results.

After the procedure, it is important to protect the skin with sunscreen and avoid direct sun exposure, as the newly exposed skin may be more sensitive to UV damage. Dermaplaning can also cause some temporary redness and sensitivity, but these side effects typically subside within a few hours to a day. We can determine if you are the right candidate during our consultation.
